Hot & Cold Compress
A Hot & cold compress can help you ease joint pain without causing you any discomfort. Heat compress reduces joint pain, relaxes your sore muscles, and increases blood flow. Cold compress, on the other hand, also helps in easing joint pain and treats inflammation by numbing the areas.
Take 2 different towels and wrap both the compresses. Make sure that you don’t apply the compresses directly on the skin. Place a hot compress on the affected area and keep it as it is for about 3 minutes. Remove the hot compress and apply cold compress immediately. Keep cold compress on the affected area for about 1 minute. Repeat this process for 15-20 minutes till you start to feel better.
